So, maybe you bought a house and you feel like it needs some re-modelling or some serious interior design but you just don't know how to get about it. well here are some tips according to Nina Campbell, that i hope will add that little bit of splash of magic to bring its groove back.
TIPS.
  1. CONSIDER THE ROOM POTENTIAL-try to imagine everything in the room as not being of any existence. think of it only as a skeleton remaining.
  2. FOCAL POINTS- every room requires some centre of attraction or its main focus. the focal point is key because its sets the tone for the rest of the decorating scheme and its overall look.
  3. FINISHING TOUCHES- simplicity most of the time is the best decision, meaning go with some little edit in the room. reposition some items and introduce few others. the change of little things always create the best of impacts like try different cushion covers, lampshades etc.
  4. LIGHTING- light is crucial in determining the look or feel of the room, be it artificial or natural. try to get your hands on some fine pieces of lampshades and stands.
  5. PATTERN AND COLOUR- its acceptable to mix different colours and patterns as long as they compliment each other, could be abstract? its OK still as long as the intensity of the colours is relevant.
